Qubole, DataXu, and Amazon Web Services are set to present a new webinar coming up on March 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT. The webinar is titled “Getting to 1.5M Ads/sec.” Much of the focus of the upcoming webinar involves DataXu and how the company manages their big data. DataXu works with some of the biggest brands in the world, managing tens of millions of dollars in digital advertising investments. DataXu’s platform works by helping clients manage and optimize these investments so that they are effective across all digital channels. In a world where many current and potential customers use a wide variety of devices, it’s more important than ever to engage them in as many channels as possible.
DataXu is able to accomplish its goals by using numerous tools from Amazon Web Services (AWS) like Cloud Front, Cloud Trail, Data Pipeline, Dynamo DB, Glacier, Redshift, SQS, and VPC. DataXu also employs Qubole Data Service (QDS) in order to offer a Unified Analytics Interface tool for their clients. This use of QDS helps DataXu use a cloud-based big data infrastructure to provide powerful and fast performance, greater cost efficiencies, and an interface that’s easy-to-use for customers.
“Getting to 1.5M Ads/sec” will teach attendees how Qubole and AWS helped to accelerate DataXu’s batch-oriented analysis efforts, which also lead to low latency and interactive analysis. Attendees will also learn how DataXu managed to provide QDS access to customers, giving them a helpful tool for data analysis.
Speakers at this webinar include Scott Ward, a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services; Ashish Dubey, a Solutions Architect at Qubole; and Yekesa Kosuru, a VP of Engineering at DataXu. “Getting to 1.5M Ads/sec” will provide useful instruction for IT Managers, Data Scientists, Big Data Marketers, and others in the big data field.
